What Little Grazing Goat Is About
After a health scare, God gave me a wake-up call.
I’m learning to take better care of the body He gave me — one choice, one prayer, one day at a time.
Not perfect. Just trusting Him and trying again. 🙏
Learning Where to Graze
Watching goats graze is a quiet reminder of how faith works in real life. They don’t rush. They don’t consume everything at once. They move slowly, choosing what nourishes them and leaving what doesn’t.
In our walk with God, we often struggle with the same lesson. We rush. We overconsume — food, worry, distractions, habits — and then wonder why we feel empty or unwell. Scripture reminds us that God provides what we need, but we still have to choose where we graze.
Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)
Faith is not about perfection or strict control. It’s about daily dependence. Small choices. Returning to the pasture God sets before us, even after wandering.
Like these goats, we are guided best when we stay close to the Shepherd, trusting that He knows which fields will sustain us — body, mind, and soul.

Learning to Carry My Load
There was a time I tried to carry everything at once — guilt, fear, habits, regrets — and wondered why I was exhausted. Faith has taught me that life will always come with a load, but wisdom is learning how to carry it.
Like these beasts of burden, I’m learning not to rush, not to compare my load to someone else’s, and not to lay down what God has entrusted me to carry — but also not to carry what was never mine to begin with.
Scripture reminds me:
“Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee.” (Psalm 55:22)
I walk forward one step at a time, trusting that God strengthens me for today’s load — not tomorrow’s, not yesterday’s — just today.
